The Fillpro One Air Cushion System business model has been developed with the distributors’ needs at its core.
The model is completely different to anything else in the market place and gives the competitive edge to the distributor when compared against any other air packaging system available today.
Currently, there are 2 different routes to market and all suppliers follow one or the other.
- Free issue of machines to the distributor and film must be purchased from that machine supplier. The film price is inflated to cover the cost of the machine so, in real terms, the machine is, in fact purchased several times over as more film is consumed by that particular machine.
- Machines are sold by the manufacturer to the distributor which enables the manufacturer to sell film at a lower price than its competitors. The machine is only paid for once and the distributor can achieve higher margins on the film. The cost of the machines can be a one off payment, a number of installments or a higher roll price on the first 1000 rolls purchased. The roll price is then reduced once the machine cost has been recovered. This also gives the distributor the flexibility to be able to offer the machines for sale, loan or rental. None of these benefits are available to the distributor if they choose option 1. Again, the film must be purchased from that machine supplier.
