Indian packaging company, Hi-Tech Group, is targeting the frozen food market with its biopolymer, which is said to completely biodegrade within months. The firm, based in Gurugram, in India’s northern state of Haryana, recently began selling the plant-based polymer, which is produced at a factory in the state of Punjab, also in the north of India.
The corn is used as livestock feed, as human food, as biofuel, and as raw material in the industry. The Agro products that are deemed unfit for human consumption utilized for other useful products. Such useful product is an alternative to plastic made from the biopolymer from the corn starch.
